So the film project with Josh seems to be a little on the back burner for now... no idea where to take the plot, Josh wanting to make it more 'upbeat', but other than that the basic premise seems to be set in stone for the time being. It's a bleak, monotone media-satire, an abstract world where the populace attach themselves almost religiously to the press. A deconstruction of the grotesques that right wing politics try to hide through inconsistencies and reactionary rhetoric.

But at the moment any ideas i have seem to become more confused and convoluted... so to set my mind at rest from that, I'm going to start writing something completely fresh and unrelated; a bright, vibrant pastiche and homage to John Blanche and Heavy Metal comic et al; that is the big breasts and big swords type of pulp-punk fantasy... but contrasting knowingly misogynist and visceral visuals to a more philosophical and... hopefully intelligent set of writing.

Hopefully once I've got a scanner (and gotten to drawing something vaguely convincing) I'll upload some concepts and... stuff like that.
